November is a wondrous month for many reasons! It is a favorite of mine as we are especially invited to be grateful, an emotion as Christians we should embrace for all 12 months, however, often we do not. I want to point out just a few of the amazing parts of life at Westminster that I hope you'll stop and notice in the midst of much activity around us.
*Pastor Dan's call to be our Associate Pastor, please celebrate his call and attend his installation on November 20 at 3:00 pm.
*Many members attending our cottage meetings to learn about the Seeking New Paths capital campaign....there are 4 more in November (see article).
*21 day challenge devotional book to reflect on our giving for 2017. Please take the time to read each day's devotion and return your pledge card by Sunday, November 6. Also, sign up for the Joy Like a Fountain celebration brunch on November 13.
*Time for Peace services on Election day at 8 am or Noon in our sanctuary. The chapel will be open all day for prayer and also the labyrinth in the social hall.
*140 people being fed every Sunday evening at Sunday Supper at First Presbyterian, Waterloo. Consider helping out!
*Advent Sermons begin on November 27, a precious season, this year our theme is Christmas is Hope! Devotions will be available on Sunday, November 20.
The Psalmist invites us to tell others of God's wondrous deeds, who can you tell today about God's wondrous deeds in your life?
