What to Expect

Most of us have experienced that awkward feeling of being the unfamiliar face in a new place. At Westminster, we recognize how easy it is to fall short of being a place that is warm and welcoming. That is why we have put forth a great effort to provide services and programs that cater to the rich diversity in our congregation and in our community.

Expect a choice in worship service style

Traditional Service in our Sanctuary at 9 a.m. – This service includes beloved hymns, sharing of music from our various choirs, liturgy from the scriptures, children’s' sermon, offering, prayers and a practical, biblically based sermon that integrates faith and daily life. The service lasts one hour.

Contemporary Service in our Shared Life Center at 11:15 a.m.- Called Jacob's Well, this service has a coffee house atmosphere with chairs at round tables, coloring sheets for children, fresh Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and juice, creative music from our Praise Band and a power point message from one of our pastors that will inspire you for the week ahead. The service time is under an hour.

 Expect Adult Education Opportunities

Different classes are available throughout the year and meet between 10:10-11:00 am on Sunday mornings. The topics of the classes change throughout the year, but there are usually 2-3 different options to suit your preference. Click here to see the classes now in session.

Expect Opportunities for your children to grow spiritually

We uniquely tailor classes for your children based upon their age. They will be given the opportunity to discover God’s love in creative and engaging ways. Our children’s classes meet from 10:10-11:00 am on Sunday morning.

Middle school aged students will meet in our Junior High room and gain biblical knowledge through our three year cycle of confirmation. The knowledge your student gains through the confirmation process will provide them a solid foundation as they enter high school.

The Senior High group meets in our Senior High room. The room is comfy and cozy, featuring recliners and couches. Your senior higher will feel comfortable as they engage in conversations about ways in which they can live out the knowledge and wisdom gained through their confirmation process.

Child care is available throughout the morning for infants and young children. We have trained child care staff that takes great care of your children in a secure, fun nursery while you’re at worship or our Christian education classes.

  Expect Community

Meals bring families together; coffee brings those at Westminster together. Fresh Dunkin Donuts coffee is offered after the tradition service, as well as during our adult education classes contemporary services. We are proud to be part of an friendly and welcoming congregation.
